sustainability
Sustainability begins with the selection of raw materials, as these form the basis for an environmentally friendly and at the same time high-quality product.
One of the best-known suppliers of printable eco-textiles is Stanley/Stella . The textiles are primarily made from untreated organic cotton and are grown and processed under fair conditions in Asia.
Organic cotton uses significantly less water than regular cotton, and no fertilizers or pesticides are used. This protects the soil and preserves its fertility.
Stanley/Stella is a recognized member of the Fair Wear Foundation and holds numerous certifications for its production and textiles: Oeko-Tex, GOTS, and PETA, to name just a few. All of these certifications require them to meet the strictest standards .
For these reasons We source our eco-textiles from Stanley/Stella.
We exclusively use Kornit Neo-Pigment ink for printing. This ink is completely free of heavy metals, formaldehyde, and alkylphenol ethoxylates (APE), making it harmless to humans and the environment. Furthermore, the ink is water-based and therefore biodegradable. Our Kornit digital printing machines also excel in the printing process, as they consume significantly less water than traditional printing methods.
We also strive to be as environmentally conscious as possible when it comes to packaging and shipping. And because enough plastic already ends up in the oceans, we simply avoid it. Our shipping packaging is therefore made from untreated paper and cardboard, which is easier to recycle.
